Can I use this form?
Use this form if you are the party answering an appeal and want to respond to the other party's brief.
The Appellee's Brief must be filed within 35 days after the due date for Appellant's Brief.
What do I need first?
To use this form, you will need:
- Your name, address, phone, and email,
- The other party's contact information,
- You need to know what happened in the trial court,
- Your appellate court and trial court case numbers,
- The record on appeal,
- The report of proceedings, and
- Legal authorities (cases and statutes) that support your argument.
