Jury trial in small claim case
There won't be a jury in a small claims case unless one of the parties asks for it.
Plaintiffs must ask for a jury when they first file their complaint. Defendants must ask for a jury when they first appear in court.
There is a fee for a jury trial.
Jury trials are much more complex, cost more money, and take much more time. You should talk to a lawyer if you want a jury trial.
