How much will I get if I'm approved for SNAP benefits?

The amount of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits that you will get depends on the number of people in your SNAP unit, your income and assets, and your expenses.

You can get a general idea of what your SNAP level might be by completing the SNAP calculator. Please note this is simply a tool for you to use to figure out what SNAP benefit amount, if any, that you might qualify for. It is not an application for SNAP benefits.

The chart below shows the highest amount of money your SNAP unit can receive each month as of October 2023:

Number of People in Your Household
Maximum Gross Monthly Benefits
1 $291
2 $535
3 $766
4 $973
5 $1,155
6 $1,386
7 $1,532
8 $1,751
9 $1,970
10 $2,189

For households with more than 10 people, add $219 for each additional person.
